I am passionate about helping busy people escape the overwhelm of planning and step straight into relaxation. I specialize in getaways designed for people who don't have the time (or the desire) to track flights, compare options, or manage endless details.
I believe travel should be the cure for burnout, not another item on your to-do list. That's why I handle the research, logistics, and coordination from start to finish so you can focus on enjoying every moment of your vacation.

Howdy! I'm Kirby, a Houston, TX based travel advisor and owner of Maps & Mimosas. My mom has always said that I didn't close my eyes for the first 48 hours after being born cause I was so excited to see the world. That excitement has only ever grown, and I desire to share it with others. Thus, Maps & Mimosas was born. Whether you're looking to explore the world (Maps), sip a drink and relax somewhere new (Mimosas), or both, like me, I'm here to help you plan a curated vacation specific to you!
The Process
Step 1: Schedule your complimntary consulation
The consultation call is for us to get to know each other and for me to understand your vacation goals and desires. We will talk through the details of what kind of trip you are looking for and any information I will need in order to plan your trip.
Step 2: Authorize my services and pay the White-Glove service and planning fee
After the consultation call, I will provide you with the amount of the planning fee for your specific trip type and send a link to pay. If you choose to work with me to plan your trip, you can pay the planning fee and sign my terms and conditions. At that point, I'll get started planning your trip!
Step 3: Proposal
I will spend a few days crafting your curated proposal. This will include every detail needed for your vacation. Once the proposal is ready, I will send you a link to view it with an option to get on a call to discuss it together. If you have any questions or want to make changes, we will discuss those and fine-tune your proposal until it is exactly what you are looking for!
Step 4: Booking
After you have approved the proposal, I'll get started booking all elements of the vacation. I will provide you with all the confirmation numbers and any other details needed for your trip.
Step 5: Get ready and enjoy your vacation!
Once your trip is booked and final payments are made, you get to sit back, relax, and get ready! I will handle coordinating all details for your vacation and confirming each reservation leading up to and during your trip. Any issues that arise along the way, I'll be here to assist you.
